Buchanan - Clayton

Buchanan- Clayton

We just recently got these pics from the photographer, acorn studios - Erin Fults. She is so talented! I couldn't wait to share these...enjoy the photographer pics. It is amazing what a great photographer can do. No matter what your budget, put the money towards the photographer...and a wedding coordinator, of course! :)

Signature Occasions - Wedding Planning/Directing and Decor
Photography by David Wiggins

Tiffany came to us with a great and unique vision for her wedding. She wanted fun, casual, and different. She wanted black, white and red...so we added polka dots, buttons and amazing floral ideas to really bring the vision together.

A Daisy A Day made amazing pieces that really suited the overall style. The polka dot toppers, red and white lanterns, buttons down the tables and bouquets were all aspects that made the style cohesive. The aisle was lined with over-sized red carnation balls tied with black and white polka dot ribbons...they were perfect! The food tables were set in front of a draped white wall and a hanging monogram of red flowers. This same monogram was seen on all the paper products throughout the evening. Even the wishing tree of hanging red ribbons had pieces of paper with the monogram on the top and handwritten notes by the guests. Every detail brought the overall look to perfection!

The bride's cake by That Special Touch included polka dot ribbons and fondant buttons around the tiers. The groom's cake by Whatever It Cakes was a replica of a fire hose to represent the groom's love as a fireman!

Not only was the decor a cohesive element, but the couple made sure to pay attention to pleasing the guests. Amazing food by Katherine Davis, and great music by Hunter Gibson and The Gators, made the guests relax and enjoy themselves. Also, the kid's sized tables and chairs were covered in crayons and activities. As an added touch, the buffet included peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and goldfish...kid favorites! A great time was had by all! Congrats!

The couple danced, mingled with guests and left in a vintage firetruck...also crowd favorite! A great photo op for both adults an kids.

Fairview Inn
We were lucky to be asked to assist Amanda Johnson with her wedding. She is such an organized planner with a clear vision and we really enjoyed being able to execute her vision, so she was able to enjoy her day to the fullest!

She used the peacock feather as her inspiration. The bridesmaids dresses were a aqua color and accents of purple and deep blue throughout really made a complete style. Peacock feathers in the bouquets, centerpieces, and food table arrangements really showed the whole vision.

They were married on the deck of The Fairview and we were crossing our fingers that it would be great weather. Luckily, it turned out beautifully. Mostly Martha's handled the flowers and really brought the peacock look together. The white lanterns along the banister, feather pew markers, photo guest book, peacock boutonnières, and custom aisle runner represented the couple perfectly.

It was the special touches that made guests remember this wedding. Quilt squares, babysitting room, candy bar, cheesecake martinis, and a photo booth were the favorites!

Guests were greeted inside with quilt squares to write notes to the couple. The table also had the family veil as an overlay with a description of it's history. Of course the guests loved the candy bar!! Both kids and adults loved packing their monogrammed bags with childhood favorites.

Of course parents loved being able to drop their children at a childcare area and enjoy some adult fun! The centerpieces tied with coordinating ribbon and feathers really accented the vision. Outside was a photo booth...a crowd favorite! I can't wait to see those pics!

Overall, the wedding really represented the couple and suited her vision perfectly! We were lucky to be able to help and bring her dream to life! Congrats!

Testimonial

Let us share our latest testimonial:

"I was stressed to the max trying to figure out how to help my niece plan her upcoming fall wedding. All she knew is that she wanted a fall wedding, multiple kinds of fall flowers, rustic and simple feel and a fun reception. I knew that we had a conservative budget and that it would be difficult, if not impossible, to plan the wedding AND serve as Maid of Honor AND enjoy the wedding. Kristen, you assured me that if I turned it over to Signature Occasions, you and Debbie could handle the specifics and take the stress of planning and execution away. You were right! I appreciate that you took our ideas and ran with them! The church was beautiful and the short walk across the street for the reception was great too! Who could have dreamed that the Madison Square Center for the Arts could be decorated to look like an outdoor evening complete with lighted tree branches, hanging lantern lights and tables and chairs that were perfectly suited to Brandi’s wish for casual and rustic but still with an elegant feel. The food was great too! Thank you for creating a beautiful wedding for Brandi and her husband Josh Purvis. They loved it and say that it was even better than they imagined it would be! Six months later they are still talking about it and I know that they will for years to come. Thanks again for everything! -Paula Ricks"

The couple were married at First Baptist Church in Tupelo, MS
with a reception following at Tupelo Country Club.

The ceremony was at six in the evening and was packed with candlelight! It was romantic and each guest could feel the love between the couple.

The bridesmaids wore pink strapless sweetheart floor length gowns that. The overall style was soft champagnes, creams, and shades of pinks. Everything was accented by candles throughout the evening.

The guests were greeted to a delicious buffet while the bride and groom took some additional photos around the golf course.

The couple and guests danced the night away to the sounds of Celebrations. They then departed by a shower of rose petals and drove away in a pink vintage car!

The couple was married at First Baptist Chapel in Jackson by Chip Henderson and it was truly a religious ceremony that focused on uniting two people in love.

The reception was at the Jackson Yacht Club and was amazing!

The bride really wanted an elegant feel; white with touches of blues. The draping and fabulous lighting really put everything over the top!

Guests enjoyed music by Coupe de Belle, dancing, great food....and waved goodbye as the couple rode away in a pontoon boat; such a wonderful touch!

The pictures are from my phone...sorry they aren't the best quality. Stay posted and we'll post the photographer's pictures as soon as we get them!
