Top 5 Wedding Day Tips...

Plan for Snacks

This should be a major priority for you. Your wedding party will be hungry, no matter what time of day, so plan on snacks and drinks. Have a friend responsible to bring the food, set it up and clean it up. It's the perfect job for a helpful aunt or family friend.

Make a "WOW" with Linens

It's the easiest bang for the buck. You can transform any room from standard white to your specific style. At a recent wedding we monogrammed chair covers for a reception with thebride's new initial.

Practice the Bustle

After "I do" everything happens so fast that people forget the importance of knowing the bustle by heart. Each dress is different and too many times we've resorted to safety pins so the bride could walk (and dance!) in her dress. Practice makes perfect!

Empty Cars

Make sure your family comes to the reception with empty cars. You will have to bring back candles, cake knives, presents, centerpieces...and you will need every inch of space!

Hire an Experienced Planner

A wedding planner has a variety of roles and allows you to not worry about the details-like when the wedding cake will be delivered, giving the band directions, calling the limo driver to update him on the departure time, etc., etc, etc. The services of a good planner allow you-and your family to fully enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime occasion.

We've Moved!!

It's hard to believe we moved from the 'little red house' but we have. As sad as we were to leave, we had outgrown our office space and wanted to have all our event design items at the same location.

We found the perfect spot ~ Our new location is 290 Commerce Park Drive - Suite A, Ridgeland, MS 39157 (We are very near Freedom Ridge Park, Ridgeland Library and Ridgeland Police Department) We doubled our office space and now have warehouse space for all our decor items. What a super deal!! Now we have a great event planning office and can actually show you design elements instead of looking at pictures!!

We're Headed to New Orleans!

The International Special Events Show starts tomorrow in New Orleans, LA and we are headed there! We can't wait to hear some fabulous speakers and see all the new event exhibitors. We are sure to come back with GREAT new ideas and exciting 'stuff' to make your wedding or event SPECTACULAR!!

It is hard to believe '09 has come and gone and a new year is about to begin! We wish you all a Happy New Year ~ one filled with love, happiness and prosperity.

We're Back from Wedding MBA in Las Vegas!

Last week we traveled to Las Vegas to attend Wedding MBA to learn tips from some of the best in the wedding industry. Not only were the speakers amazing, we found some exciting new wedding favors and gifts that we are making available to our brides.
