Okay - I couldn't stand it any longer... I just HAD to post our new logo! I just love it!! It so reflects our new image and all the great stuff we have in the works. Check back often or better yet, give us a call and learn what's buzzing at the 'little red house'.

Our colors are changing.... This is just a hint at our exciting new look that's coming!! You won't believe our new logo! We are SOOOO excited we can hardly wait! Check back soon to get a glimpse of the new Signature Occasions. We're even changing our studio! As soon as it's finished, we'll post pics of it too!!

Kristen Blackard ~ Our Newest Team Member!!

Kristen Blackard is our most recent addition to the Signature Occasions' team. She is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a degree in Hospitality Management and has planned weddings and events for seven years. Her experience ranges from intimate affairs to lavish 500 person receptions, destination weddings, themed parties and University fundraising events. Kristen prides herself on creating events specific to each bride and within their budget. She loves developing a relationship with a bride, understanding their vision and making it come true. We feel fortunate that Kristen chose our company to share her talents!!

New Things Are Happening!

As I mentioned in a earlier post, there are great, new things happening at Signature Occasions. Starting in May, we are adding a third (yes, THIRD) wedding and event planner (we will formally announce that special person within the next two weeks). By the end of May we will have a fresh and exciting look and will have an expanded list of services. Watch our web site and blog for all the exciting things buzzing in our 'little red house'.

Congratulations are in order!!

Congratulations to Deborah Simmons for being appointed the Association of Bridal Consultants FIRST Mississippi State Coordinator!! Deborah will be responsible for holding regional meetings and workshops, building a network of wedding consultants and vendors throughout the state and representing Mississippi at the National conference. Such a prestigious honor is a result of Deborah's ongoing participation in ABC's education programs and events and a commitment to excellence in the wedding industry.

Wedding Notebook and Planner ~

We have busy creating a customized Wedding Notebook and Planner for our Brides and it is now complete!! Starting in April all our new brides will receive this planning notebook as our gift for being a 'Signature Bride'. The notebook will be customized for your wedding and is shocked full of great tips and lists to keep you organized.
